When I was a police officer, I had a variety of practical head/neck gear because going home or staying inside was rarely an option. I couldn’t wear scarves that could be used as a weapon to strangle me, so I had turtleneck sweaters to layer under my long sleeve uniform shirts and a jacket with zip out lining.
