That depends on where you live. I grew up in a colder climate, and we were not allowed to wear shorts to school (but we did outside of school). I later moved to a hot climate, and *everyone* wore shorts to school, you’d be crazy not to. Now, technically you asked “in” high school, not “to” high school. Whether or not your school allows them, you can wear whatever you want outside of school hours. When the school refused to change it’s policy, the boys wore skirts to school. The school has now changed it’s policy.
