Though inkjet technology has come a long way since the initial days, you have to take note that Laser Technology has gone a foot (or even a furlong) ahead. On a personal level, the crispy warm feeling of paper when it comes out of a Laser printer is much better than the smudgy cold feel from an inkjet printer. None of the printers in my office or the various other offices I have visited have replaced inkjet with laser and i don’t see that happening in the near future.
