Just like women have masculine side. We like to talk of Mother Bear, but in traditional myth war is domain of men. Masculine is builder and warmaker. Of course women have some of this too. I think every person has masculine and feminine side, if we are talking of tradition and mythic analogy. Some have more or less. To have feminine side does not make man weak. But too often in film this is only way “feminine” male behavior is shown. Man is shown to like “girl” things and to be open with feelings as this makes him “feminine”. But also this makes him weak. “Feminine” man is almost never show also as warrior. As man who asserts himself and bends world to his vision.
